Bellows is an authoring tool for animated, interactive web pages and games, now in a closed beta. If you have an invite, open it here.

The beta is closed for now. Features can change between versions, so keep copies of documents you care about.

Invited testers sign in with the email their invite went to.

For Windows. It has the command line and the MCP server built in. The Windows installer is not signed yet, so Windows shows "Windows protected your PC". Choose More info, then Run anyway.

What is in the beta

Three tutorials

Easy, Medium and Pro lessons run inside the editor and check each step you take.

Plain words, or Pro words

Menus and messages use plain words by default, and a Pro words setting switches to the technical terms.

Light, Dark and Bellows looks

The editor comes in three themes: Light, Dark and Bellows.

Old Flash work opens in the editor

Drop an SWF, an FLA, an Animate project folder or a zip of an old site on the start screen. A plain summary of what is inside shows before anything opens.

Video, sprite sheets and game engines

Export MP4 and WebM video, sprite sheets and frames, and plugins for Godot, Unity and Unreal. Godot has been checked in the engine. Unity and Unreal have not yet been checked in those engines.

Easy AI setup, with family mode

Connecting Claude or a local model is a few guided steps, and a parent can turn on family mode with a PIN.
